The movement of Rwanga and the message of rebellion

Abstract

Rwanga is literary movement that was announced by some literary authors on April 25th, 1970. Although the idea has existed, yet, at the present time, following the agreement of March 1970 between the leaders of September Revolution and Iraqi government, a new horizon for both literature and for the announcement of this movement has emerged.

This paper deals with rebel in general and rebel as Rwanga movement main message.

This paper consists of two sections. The first section introduces the concept of rebel, its definition, and the causes of the rebel of Rwanga group. The second section discusses the types of rebel such as political rebel, rebel in the old generation, rebel against the authorities, rebel against religion, literary rebel and social rebel are discussed.  In each section, the causes and the reflection of these types of rebel are explained in addition to the criticism addressed to Rwanga movement. The paper ends with some findings and a list of references.
