The tourism sector is considered one of the most important sectors affected by terrorism and financial crises, since this sector is sensitive because tourists are trying to spend their vacations in safe countries, which means that they are reluctant to visit those countries where terrorism and crises are widespread and the consequent layoffs of a large number of workers in this sector. The decline in the number of tourists, which in turn increases unemployment. The economic effects of terrorism and financial crises vary according to the ability of economic, financial and political institutions to contain them and reduce their negative effects through international conferences and seminars on the study of terrorism and crises, their causes and how to confront them. And addressing them to strengthen the national economy. The research found that the tourism sector in the province of Erbil was negatively affected by terrorism and financial crisis, which led to a decline in the number of tourists in general and foreigners in particular. Resulting in a decline in the revenues of this sector.
