University teachers’ view on the importance given to digital TVs in building the culture of environment in Kurdistan Region

A scientific research is basically a research about a phenomenon, from that view, this scientific research is a field research based the descriptive method and approach of survey in the same method, (survey forms) was used as the tool to collect data.
From the most important objects of the research are:
- knowing the quantity of importance given by the digital television to the various basics to the environmental culture building: cognitive basics, societal basics, establishment basics) according to the opinion of teachers in the universities.
- knowing the viewpoint of university teachers regarding (gender, scientific title, specialized scientific departments) regarding the quantity of importance by the digital television to build an environmental culture.
The population of the research regarding media is consisting of (all the digital television channels in Kurdistan Region), in that population the digital television channels of (GavTv، Kurdsat web Tv ، Rudaw web Tv، Halabja web Tv) are taken as the research sample.
On the other hand, the human facet of the research population consists of (all the public universities of Kurdistan Region) including (all the teachers of the specialties of: media, environment, sociology, social work, geography, tourism) from all the public universities in Kurdistan Region were specified as the human sample of the research, all of them without bias were taken as intended selection of comprehensive inventory.
The hypothesis of the research also mentions: the difference of statistics is present between the university teachers’ viewpoint regarding (gender, scientific title, specialized scientific departments) regarding the quantity of importance given by the digital televisions in building an environmental culture.
also the most important conclusion of the research is:
a. the digital television channels gave importance with a (weak) level to each of cognitive basics, societal basics, establishment basics) of environmental culture.
